In 2009 Italian illustrator Franco Brambilla digitally imposed scifi images onto vitage postcards for the collection, ‘Into the vintage’. The images are super fun and ironic, full of symbolism and would be an impressive postcard to send.

coz baby, the Sticky Institute in Melbourne is a goldmine of hundreds of little gem-zines. And no $20 shipping fee like overseas purchases!

I love this book. Pessoa writes in that beautifully sad way, effortless and intimate, communicating poignant ideas.
Its a book to savour. Slowly, I take in his words, an entry a day (it is written in diary format) re-read it a few times, and let it wander around my mind for that day. I drown and revive the words, the message becomes inflated, drys, and transforms slightly. I feel the world change suddenly, or I’ve lost my-self, because I feel everything’s absolutely nothing , there is no fear, there is emptyness, all that exists are memories black holed, this sun will die, and you and I and everyone are one with eternity.
I didnt explain myself clearly just then. But I will work on it.
In the meantime, Pessoa is showing me a way.

A very interesting ‘outsider’ artist who wrote the longest book ever, some 15,000 pages of writing and drawings about seven young girls fighting against evil. He was a loner janitor, keeping his work to himself, living life through his epic tale, leaving an amazing piece of work.
